Harry Up!

The other night when our aborted meeting with my girlfriend, i was lying quietly in bed at 10pm when series of messages came into my inboxes, late messages sent as early as 6 oclock. Huh! what a lame service of Smart communication. One particular message caught my attention, a message coming from a Chikka account.

Belated happy bday jay, love u... miss u. ala jud ko nila gitagaan ug num nimo bah, lain au silaasa diay ka now? kita na lang tafree ko ugma, text lang ko nimo sa hapon.

So there you go. last night after i met borj at JS together with the other sangre who were heading for webster's bday celebration, i opted to change my routine and met Harry instead.
The rain poured heavily so we had a stop at jollibee bolton and sit for a one piece chicken and a jolly hotdog together with an mais-con-yelo ice craze. The service counter assistant was very accomodating enough to the point that we were cracking some jokes on her and she gamely played with it.

We stationed ourselves in one of corner at the upper section of the building where we can chat loud enough without irritating some other customer. Reminiscing the good old days we had, and remembering the who's who in our lives. We talk about some common friends, about Borj and Rain among others. Enjoying every seconds we had that time for its has been almost a year of not seeing each other.

After we were done with our meals, we went outside and the rain just keep on puring heavily. We continued our chat in one corner outside the jollibee premise while waiting for the rain to stopped, but it did not. We decided to take a shot with our nasal and voice chords so there we go, crossed the moderately traffic and flooded street to have an acces for a ride towards rizal.
Room # 5, that was our videoke session where we had an hour to sing our hearts out with handful of songs sorted out from the experiences that shaped our friendship and everything that transpired in our lives.

SIGNIFICANCE: the song embodies our friendship that even if we were not able to meet every now and then, still we are a friend to each other.Lil did I know that Harry is now changing taste. Haha. Before when he chose a song, its always been an Erik Santos song, now its Christian...hmmm. how time flies.... In fairness the attendant could not help but say her admiration on Harry's vocal prowess.

WHEREVER YOU WILL GO by The Calling
SIGNIFICANCE: We may have travelled our own personal routes in life, still we managed to look for a crossroad to be able to meet in the end, may it by dreams or in reality.
I personally chose the song because this has been my all time favorite song. Since the day i heard my friend Jepoy sang this way back in Bohol, it remained my most love personal favorite.

HOW DID YOU KNOW by Gary Valenciano
SIGNIFICANCE: Obviously we never knew why our path crossed, it was one fateful night when we met and sealed a friendship that till this very moment survived amidst distance and time.
He was asking me why i am choosing that song and for whom it was intended for. haha . Well i know that Borj knew it for that song never escaped from our repertoire (haha) when we had our videoke session together.

SAY THAT YOU LOVE ME by Martin Nievera
SIGNIFICANCE: We need not to utter this line for we know deep inside us that we care .
Hahaha. He complained that he cant sing the song because it reminded him of someone in his past. Well who would not be affected by this heartwarming song as this song also was a part of my lovely past. haaaay! teary eyed jayR ...

SIGNIFICANCE: Oh-uh while singing this song, what the heck is that stare Harry.. hahaha
I chose the song for this is my song for my girlfriend reign... I love you honey.

When the tv screen flashed the song title, we burst into laughter. hahaha. Harry Harry Night... lolz. I remember an event. As Harry puts it. "Autistic jud!" haha indeed!

SIGNIFICANCE: Hayy just someone singing me this song before... only to end me up crying.
The attendant told us our time is up so that was our finale song that night.

After excercising our diaphrams,it was already 9:45, we gave the night another shot at lovely life it is. We celebrated our friendship anew and sealed yet another night of endless encounter as it will be added to the already fun-filled chapter in our budding friendship. We closed the night after we have finally rested after a long night encounter of souls longing for each other.
